A New York minute

This morning, I wrote a post about New York. I tried to wax eloquent about the pace of the city, the myriad people, the joys of wandering and eavesdropping and watching.

But what I want to do instead is simply share with you a quick glimpse of a very fast trip there this weekend. It’s not a city I ever wanted to live in, but I don’t think my curiosity about it will ever be satisfied. How could it be?

It is New York, after all. And regardless of how many times I’ve visited, I’ve still never seen anything quite like it.

What brings you around the world, to all these sparkling cities? Why all the travel?

I love exploring places – those I’ve visited before and those that are new to me. I’m curious about people and culture. And I’m lucky to be able to go!
