If someone asks where I want to go, my answer is always the same: everywhere. That’s mainly true, though there are a few exceptions, and certainly there are places that I would prefer to visit before others. For the most part, though, I’m curious enough to want to see how life happens in many different places.
I’ve traveled through the United States and Europe, so the point at which I can say that I’ve actually gone “everywhere” is a long way off. For now, I can say that I’ve visited:
- Norway
- Denmark
- Scotland
- Iceland
- England
- Ireland
- France
- Italy
- Switzerland
- The Czech Republic
- Austria
- Germany
- The Netherlands
- Belgium
- Canada
- The Bahamas
- All 50 of these United States, including my last – North Dakota – in the summer of 2017
- Spain
- Monaco
Some of my favorites? A very partial list includes: Mendocino County, California. Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic. Amsterdam. Paris. Alaska. Hawaii. Maine. Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. The Great Smoky Mountains. Vancouver. The Outer Banks of North Carolina. Galveston, Texas.
More than specific places, I often think of specific experiences that I have loved and carry with me. Sunsets in Oklahoma. A spa in Germany. Panini in Florence. Gelato in Vienna. An incredible thunderstorm in Kansas. Driving up the coast of California. Doughnuts in Seattle. Biking through Amsterdam.
More than I can remember, really. My wanderlust seems endless; I can’t wait to add to this list.
And where do you call home Anna?
I’m on the North Coast of California, Karenlee, a few hours north of San Francisco. ๐
Well I hope you’ll put Australia on your ‘to visit’ list!
It’s definitely already on the list! ๐
