In another world

…I’d be packing my suitcase tonight, getting ready to board a Lufthansa flight to Paris tomorrow.

But in this world, I am of course staying home.

I’ll get to Paris again. In the meantime, I spent time this morning looking back on past Aprils in my favorite city. Though I know right now it has a different feel to it, it makes me happy to even remember the city is out there, ready to light up the world again when the time is right.
